Louis Mendy

Louis Mendy is a professor of American Literature at the University of Dakar, Senegal. He was also a Fulbright Junior Staff  at California State University, Fullertonin in 1999-2000 and a Fulbright teacher exchange at Roosevelt High School in Los Angeles in 1993-94. Before that, Dr Louis Mendy was a French language assistant at Leyton College in London in 1986-87. He joined Amnesty International in 1996 and moved from group member to national counsellor, Chair of the AGM and Chair of the Seneglese Section in 2007. He was elected member of the IEC during the 2009 ICM at Antalya.
