Lilian Gonçalves-Ho Kang You

Lilian, who is from the Netherlands, is a lawyer by training, having graduated from the Leiden University Law School. Lilian served as chair of Amnesty International Netherlands from 2001 to 2005. From 2002 to 2003, she was a member of the international committee that prepares Amnesty International's Integrated Strategic Plan. She was elected to the IEC in August 2005, and served as IEC chair from September 2006 to September 2007.
