Levent Korkut

Levent, from Turkey, is an academic working on legal theory, international law and constitutional law at Hacettepe University in Ankara. He was one of the founders of Amnesty International Turkey and served on the board as chair from 2004 to 2007. He has been involved in several human rights and NGO development works conducted by governmental and non-governmental institutions. He was elected to IEC in August 2007.
