Urge the Greek Minister of Interior, Prokopis PAVLOPOULOS to:

•   Ensure that the police carry out a thorough and impartial investigation into the attack against Konstantina Kuneva;
•   Take immediate steps to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure Konstantina Kuneva receives restitution and adequate compensation;
•   Protect other human rights defenders and trade union members from similar attacks by fully implementing existing legislation on worker's rights.

This petition will be handed over to the Greek Minister of Interior on 1 May 2009, the International Labour Day.
