Defensores y defensoras de los derechos humanos

Los defensores y defensoras de los derechos humanos sacan a la luz violaciones de estos derechos y hacen campaña para que se otorgue reparación a las víctimas. Son quienes, solos o con la ayuda de otros, actúan para garantizar la promoción y la protección de los derechos humanos de todas las personas. Pero lo importante no es quiénes son, sino qué hacen. Los defensores y defensoras de los derechos humanos emprenden acciones pacíficas y consideran que todos los seres humanos tienen los mismos derechos.
