Kenya’s government should halt the proposed eviction of more than 50,000 people living alongside the country’s railway lines until guidelines that conform with international human rights standards have been adopted, Amnesty International said today.
Amnesty International today condemned the executions by the Hamas de facto authority of two Palestinian men in Gaza in the early hours of this morning. Both men had been convicted in 2009 by military courts in Gaza of charges of “collaboration” with the Israeli military and involvement in murder.
