Yemen: Security and human rights: Media briefing

This briefing sets out Amnesty International’s current assessment of security and human rights issues in Yemen. It does not address other human rights concerns such as violence and discrimination against women, torture and other ill-treatment of detainees and the death penalty insofar as they do not relate directly to security and human rights issues. It does however consider unlawful killings of suspected militants, trials and use of excessive force and violations of freedom of assembly.
