Amnesty International is concerned for the safety of Hussein ‘Atawi, Abbas ‘Awada, Zeinab ‘Abd al-Majid al-Surur (f) and Hussein ‘Ali Qasemthe, who were arrested over the past few days. All are now believed to be held at the Khiam Detention Centre where torture and ill-treatment of detainees is systematic and where many detainees have been held for years without charge or trial.
