This report focuses on the situation of internally displaced persons and human rights abuses and violations of international humanitarian law in the context of the armed conflict in Maguindanao province, which was the stronghold of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and one of the centres of the armed conflict for most of its duration.
