Afghanistan: 10-Point human rights agenda for presidential candidates

As the Afghan people prepare for presidential and provincial council elections on August 20th 2009, Amnesty International calls on the 38 presidential candidates to commit themselves publicly to fulfilling Afghanistan’s international human rights obligations and to work towards achieving national benchmarks on governance, rule of law and human rights.
