In this open letter Amnesty International expresses its concerns about the pre-trial detention conditions of PFC Bradley Manning at the Quantico Marine Corps Base, Virginia. The organization also encloses a copy of the further letter sent to the Secretary of Defense. Amnesty International remains concerned that his conditions fall short of international standards for humane treatment and are inconsistent with his status as an untried prisoner.
