Lydia Cacho Ribeiro, president of the organization Centro Integral de Atención a las Mujeres (CIAM), Women's Assistance Centre, has recently received further threats as a result of her work to protect the rights of women and girls. Amnesty International is concerned for her safety as well as for the safety of other staff members of CIAM.
