Chile: Key human rights concerns: Amnesty International Submission to the UN Universal Periodic Review, January – February 2014

In this submission, Amnesty International assesses the implementation of recommendations previously accepted by Chile, including in relation to discrimination, past crimes, Indigenous rights, use of force, military courts, National Human Rights Institutions, and sexual and reproductive rights. The organization also raises concerns with regard to the continued impunity for past human rights violations, the rights of Indigenous Peoples, women’s rights, including sexual and reproductive rights, and the use of force during public protests.
