Bolivia: Submission to the United Nations Human Rights Committee: 109th Session of the Human Rights Committee (14 October – 1 November 2013)

Amnesty International submits this briefing to the United Nations Human Rights Committee ahead of its examination of Bolivia’s third periodic report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Amnesty International recognises that significant changes and reforms have been taking place in Bolivia since it was last reviewed by the Human Rights Committee in 1997 such as the approval of a new Political Constitution. The organization highlights a number of human rights concerns in relation to several questions on the Committee’s list of issues.
