Democratic Republic of Congo: Comments and recommendations of the July 2003 draft law implementing the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court

This paper examines the draft law, published in July 2003, implementing the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court Bill and makes comments and recommendations for amendments to ensure that national courts can investigate and prosecute individuals accused of crimes under international law consistently with international law and practice and to ensure full cooperation with the International Criminal Court (ICC).
