In this document Amnesty International calls for the publication of investigations into human rights abuses in Eastern Sudan. Amnesty International condemned the killings and the excessive and indiscriminate use of force by the security forces in Port Sudan. The organisation also calls for the release of political opponents who have been detained without charge.
