In this document Amnesty International makes key recommendations to donors funding Sudan. The organization urges that donors invest in protecting the human rights of all Sudanese. Donors must monitor funds to Sudan, according to clear benchmarks, evaluation and control, to ensure that it is the Sudanese people who benefit and not the violators.The recommendations include some to the government of Sudan which will take little time and cost no money, but will show its commitment to the human rights in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
