Sudan: Further information: Activist remains in detention without trial

Bushra Gamar Hussein Rahma, a Sudanese human rights activist, continues to be detained without trial. This is in spite of assurances from the Sudanese authorities that he would be either charged or freed on 9 October. He was originally arrested on 25 June in Omdurman. He is in poor health and remains at risk of torture or other ill-treatment.
