Sudan: fear of torture: Kamal Abdelwahab Nureldayem

Kamal Abdelwahab Nureldayem is reported to have been arrested in Khartoum in early March 1994. His whereabouts are currently unknown, and there is concern he may be undergoing torture. There is also concern for his health as he is thought to be suffering from a serious intestinal medical condition. A school teacher and prominent trade union activist, he has been arrested on severeal occasions on account of his opposition to the government. He may be a prisoner of conscience.
