The above named, two workers with the human rights organization Transvaal Rural Action Committee (TRAC) in Driefontein, South Eastern Transvaal and a member of the ANC in Driefontein, have reportedly been identified as targets for “elimination” at a recent meeting of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP). AI fears fears for their physical safety, especially around the time of an IFP rally scheduled to be held in Driefontein on 27 March 1993. It is feared that the police may fail to protect them from attacks or assassination.
