In this open letter Amnesty International calls on Goodluck Jonathan to prioritize the respect, protection and fulfilment of human rights during his new tenure as President of Nigeria. The organization urges him to use his first 100 days in office to take measures against extrajudicial execution, enforced disappearance and torture and other ill-treatment and to also adopt a moratorium on executions.
