Kosovo (Serbia): The challenge to fix a failed UN justice system
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS
Please ensure that all relevant people in the section, including IGO lobbyists, have received copies for their attention, and that the document is centrally filed for future reference. In addition please undertake as many of the following recommended actions as possible.
A planned European Defence and Security Policy (EDSP) mission in Kosovo, will – if approved by the General Affairs and External Relations Council in February 2008 – will be responsible for a new EU international justices and prosecutors programme.
Please could all sections in European Union (EU) member states:

send a copy of the report with a covering letter to their Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Council of Europe member states and AI USA are also encouraged to do likewise.

send a copy to their country’s members of the EU Civilian Affairs Committee (CIVOM) responsible for the EDSP mission;
