An Amnesty International delegation is in Istanbul on 13-14 November for an embargoed presentation of a report on violations against freedom of expression and civil liberties in Azerbaijan. The report will be launched at a press conference in Baku on 16 November.

The report, The spring that never blossomed: Freedoms suppressed in Azerbaijan , catalogues a clampdown on dissent since protests erupted in March and calls on the international community not to turn a blind eye to the human rights violations in oil-rich Azerbaijan.
