TURKEYEren Keskin (f), lawyer and member of Istanbul HRA

On 2 June 1995, Eren Keskin, who was arrested on 1 June, was brought to Bayrampaşa prison in Istanbul to serve a two years and six months' sentence. Amnesty International considers her to be a prisoner of conscience.

FURTHER RECOMMENDED ACTION: Please send telegrams/telexes/faxes/express and airmail letters

- calling for the immediate and unconditional release of Eren Keskin, imprisoned at Bayrampaşa prison in Istanbul, who is considered by Amnesty International as a prisoner of conscience.
