Three of the four men named above have been released. The High Court has ordered that the fourth be released, but the authorities have not yet complied.

Paulo Mendes, Herculano Jornal Satchanga and Bartolomeu Sangueve were released on 27 October.

On 24 October the High Court ordered the government to release Jose Sekunda if they could not show cause to keep him in custody by 10 November.

No further action is requested from the Urgent Action network at present. We will send a further update on 10 November, and may be calling for further action then.
