Filtered Human Rights Education Resources

This refers to the educational setting for which the resource was originally developed

Formal education - education conducted in structured educational institutions, including primary and secondary schools and universities

Non-formal education - adult learning and forms of education which fall outside the formal educational curriculum; examples include community learning, workshops and extra-curricular activities

Peer education - educational activities designed to trigger a natural process of transmission of knowledge and experience by some group members to other members of equal status. A small group of people sharing the same social group identity or conditions is used to inform and influence their "peers"

Ce dossier pédagogique permet au professeur et à l'éducateur d'aborder la thématique des droits sexuels et reproductifs. Une première partie aborde la question des stéréotypes, préjugés et discrimination à l'origine des violations des droits sexuels et reproductifs. Une deuxième partie présente les principales violations de ces droits à travers le monde, organisée par thématiques : droit de choisir son partenaire, droit de choisir quand et si on veut un enfant, violences sexuelles, accès aux soins et à l'information. Enfin, plusieurs actions sont proposées.

Ce dossier permet aux professeurs et éducateurs de mieux comprendre la thématique des enfants soldats. Où sont les enfants soldats, depuis quand ce phénomène existe-t-il, comment devient-on un enfant soldat, comment vit-on dans un groupe armé, pourquoi ce phénomène existe-t-il toujours aujourd'hui... sont autant de questions qui trouvent réponse dans le dossier. Un zoom est fait sur la question de la démobilisation et la réinsertion, à travers la présentation du BVES, une association qui accueille les anciens enfants-soldats dans des centres pour plusieurs mois en République démocratique du Congo.
