This submission has been prepared in advance of the consideration by the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights at its 68th session of the seventh periodic report on Finland’s implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (the Covenant). In particular, the submission provides information about the following issues in the context of Finland’s human rights obligations under the Covenant: due diligence of companies, climate action, social security and poverty, human rights education, rights of transgender and intersex persons, violence against women, health services for asylum-seekers, reception services for asylum-seekers, and accommodation for undocumented migrants.
