In May 2018, we will run a global edit-a-thon event called “Brave:Edit” where volunteers edit and upload hundreds of profiles of woman human rights defenders to Wikipedia in multiple languages. Featuring these women from all over the world on Wikipedia will help put a spotlight on their personal stories, their brave work and the challenges they face. This document contains biographical information regarding just some of the brilliant women human rights defenders which we will be adding to Wikipedia.
