Algeria: A Legacy of Impunity: A Threat to Algeria’s Future
This report is published in the hope that the next president of Algeria will take concrete steps to end impunity. The report highlights Amnesty International's main concerns on the lack of investigations and public information into serious past and present human rights abuses and the impunity afforded to their alleged perpetrators. The report hopes to contribute to the work of human rights defenders and others in their struggle to ensure that the suffering of victims is not forgotten and that grave human rights abuses are never repeated.
