Kuwait: Joint open letter to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait regarding the Bidun
In this open letter, human rights organizations write regarding the Bidun, stateless residents of Kuwait, and their lack of civil, political, social and cultural rights. For decades, Kuwaiti, Arab and international human rights activists and organizations, along with United Nations human rights bodies, have called on the government to implement policies to resolve the plight of the Bidun. To address this issue decisively, the organizations urge the Amir to initiate the five steps listed in this letter.
