Kuwait: Activists in Kuwait detained and deported
Around 33 Egyptian supporters of Mohamed ElBaradei, a possible contender in next year's Egyptian presidential elections, were arrested in Kuwait on 9 April. They were detained while gathering in a restaurant. Twenty-five of them have been summarily deported, Kuwait should immediately release anyone still held for taking part in the peaceful meeting and halt any further deportations.
