Bosnia-Herzegovina: medical concern: Dr Bajram Redzepagic
Dr Bajram Redzepagic is a kidney specialist working in the former military hospital in Sarajevo. He was reportedly taken from his workplace on 27 January 1995. His apartment was searched by the military on the same day and again on Thursday 2 March. AI is urging the Bosnian authorities to disclose the reasons for his arrest and is seeking assurances that his family will be informed of his whereabouts and that he will have access to legal representation of his choice. AI would consider that, unless he is to be prosecuted for a recognisably criminal offence, he would be a prisoner of conscience.
