Turkey: Fear of "disappearance" / fear of extrajudicial execution: Nevzat Ersonmez
AI is concerned for the safety of Nevzat Ersonmez, who was detained on 14 February 1995 in Diyarbakir by officers of the Anti-Terror Branch. His family have had no news since of his whereabouts. Nevzat Ersonmez was, until five months ago, a minibus driver for Salih Genc, who "disappeared" on 1 February 1995 and whose body was found on 15 February. Nevzat Ersonmez had been detained in January 1995 and questioned about Salih Genc.
