Cyprus: Imprisonment of conscientious objector: Giorgos Kosta Onisiforou
On 23 January 1995, Giorgos Kosta Onisiforou, a 20-year-old Jehovah's Witness, was sentenced by Larnaka Military Court to nine months' imprisonment for refusing to perform military service. He is a prisoner of conscience.
