Afghanistan ten years on: Slow progress and failed promises
In this document Amnesty International assesses various human rights concerns against progress made /stagnation or regression over the last decade in Afghanistan. The areas considered are legal respect for human rights; human security; justice and policing elimination of violence against women; "Peace and Reconciliation" with human rights; freedom of expression and freedom of opinion; access to health and maternal mortality health; access to education and displacement inside and outside Afghanistan.
