Sudanese national Adel Hamad was taken at gunpoint from his home in Peshawar, Pakistan on 18 July 2002. He was taken to a Pakistani prison where he was held prior to his transfer to Bagram. He was held in Bagram before being transferred to Guantánamo where he has now been held for nearly four years without charge or trial.
