Mexico: Letter to the Presidents of Mexico and USA
Amnesty International urges the two Presidents to put human rights at the top of their agenda for their forthcoming summit meeting. This meeting offers an historic opportunity to forge a joint action plan that puts human rights at the heart of their approach to public security, migration and other issues of mutual concern. Amongst the concerns raised in the open letter are impunity and the excessive use of force both north and south of their shared border. Amnesty International urges both Presidents to make the commitments detailed in this letter.
