Ecuadorian land activist's life at risk
Ecuadorian land activist, Milton Yulan, is at serious risk after his colleague Marlon Lozano was shot in the head on 20 July and died on the following day. It is believed that the attack was directed at Milton Yulan. Milton Yulan is the national coordinator of Land and Life (Tierra y Vida) a local organization working on land rights of peasant (campesino) communities and small rural producers.
