UA 76/94 - Sudan: fear of torture: Magdi Mohamedani
Dr Magdi Mohamedani is reported to have been arrested in early February and detained without charge in Khartoum. A trade unionist and member of the banned Sudan Communist Party (SCP), he has been an active non-violent opponent of the government who has been detained on other occasions. There are unconfirmed reports that other members of the SCP have also been arrested.
