Somalia's children under attack
Children and young people in southern and central Somalia are under relentless attack. Their lives are in constant danger and their hopes for the future have been shattered by armed conflict and grave human rights abuses. In a country which has not had a functioning central government for 20 years, public services, the rule of law and respect for human rights have been greatly undermined. But in the past four years the rights of children and young people have been flouted on an unprecedented scale.
