At the 46th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR), the Periodic Report of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) will be considered. The FDRE has submitted a report for consideration by the ACHPR. In response to this, Amnesty International offers this submission as an alternative view of the human rights situation in Ethiopia, with specific focus on freedom of expression, and urges the ACHPR to make concrete recommendations.
