Making Rights a Reality: Human rights education workshop for youth

This pack is designed for human rights educators working with youth from the ages of 14-18 years. It includes detailed instructions on how to organise and run a two-day workshop on violence against women, with an optional third day creative workshop. The material explores the causes and consequences of violence against women in the family and community and identifies some of the legal tools available. It explores the responsibility of the individual to protect women from violence, as well as introducing the responsibility of the state to protect women from non-state actors (due diligence).
