Case Sheet: Guantánamo detainee Saifullah Paracha
(10 December 2007) In this case sheet Amnesty International calls for Saifullah Paracha, Pakistani national, to be released from Guantánamo or charged promptly and given a fair trial. He has been in Guantánamo since September 2004. He suffers chest pains as a result of heart disease and has refused treatment because he believes the medical care available in the camp to be inadequate.
Case Sheet: Guantánamo detainee Mohammed Odaini
(10 December 2007) In this case sheet Amnesty International asks why Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Odaini and other Yemeni nationals cleared for release have not been returned to Yemen. Around 100 Yemeni nationals remain in Guantánamo after years of incarceration, even though not one has been charged with a crime.
Case Sheet: Guantánamo detainee Abdul Hamid Al-Hizzawi
(10 December 2007) In this case sheet Amnesty International urges that Abdul Hamid al-Ghizzawi, Libyan national, be given regular access to an independent doctor and provided with all the appropriate medical treatment he needs. He has serious health problems but is being held in the harshest facility in Guantánamo. There are fears for his life.
