Egyptians must have the right to organize demonstrations, strikes and sit ins without facing detention. Unfortunately, Egyptians face military trials and emergency laws for expressing their views peacefully. I support people's right to freedom of expression.

I love my country and am so happy to see that the people have succeeded in running out Mubarak, hoever, my concern is that many of the people choose not to abide by laws; there is a lot of bribery, thivery and decption, which essentially makes it more difficult to implement democracy. Unless the entire country changes, I worry that there will always be some form of opression and disarray. God bless my family that is there and all the other families that have lost loved ones in the protests and those families that are struggling due to the setbacks that the protests contributed to.

The Egyptian revolution is not over yet. We hope people all over the world will still show solidarity until all demands are met, and until Egypt enters a new era with a new constitution. I also highly condemn the torture used by the army against detainees, and I hope they would stop putting people to military tribunals. Finally, I'd like to express solidarity with everyone speaking up for their rights everywhere around the globe.

PEACE prevails after CHAOS... I don't know if the converse is also true or not, i.e., CHAOS required for PEACE to prevail... The movement of mass, in Egypt shows, the sky-high discontent among common people and it also showcases the immaturity with which government has dealt with the national issues. Any movement which is self-motivated and is having general acceptance among common people is bound to make an impact, but if the control of that impact is not judiciously dealt and shaped, it will worsen the situation. The problem that comes foremost with these movements is the power in the hand of people, who always wishes to cling to those powers and is not ready to forego or handover it to the successor government. But I think I have spoken enough of negative signs... :) :D :) United we stand Divided we fall... My heatiest congratulations to the bold and selfless people of Egypt, who by the virtue of their movement has inspired many more in the World... My best wishes for the Administration that is going to come... With Warm Regards, Amit Das. Kolkata, INDIA. amitdas.india@gmail.com
