Venezuela has taken positive steps to protect women’s rights and stop domestic violence but these are not enough. Women in abusive relationships continue to find themselves with no access to shelters, and unable to access justice.

Sign the petition to demand that the Government of Venezuela takes the urgent steps to protect women’s rights:

Establish new shelters to provide temporary refuge and protection to women escaping domestic violence
Train all law enforcement officials responsible for dealing with cases of domestic violence on relevant legislation and how to deal with cases of domestic violence
