88th International Labour Conference: Amnesty International’s concerns relevant to the Committee on Application of Standards

The 88th International Labour Conference will meet in Geneva from 30 May to 15 June 2000. In this document Amnesty International highlights some current concerns which may be relevant to discussions in the Committee on Application of Standards. Concerns include forced labour, with particular reference to Myanmar; freedom of association in Swaziland; persecution of individuals for their religious beliefs in Pakistan; and the safety of trade unionists in Colombia.
