The annual ‘letter writing marathon’ mobilizes people around the world to take part in a mass action together, providing hope and transforming the lives of others around the world. The Urgent Action Network – stopping human rights abuses fast

The network provides a rapid response to critical human rights situations as they arise. Information is gathered daily and sent out to thousands of people who immediately compose letters, emails, and faxes to government officials or others with the power to halt the abuse.
