This report deals exclusively with the killing of children since the beginning of the intifada. It examines the different circumstances which have lead to the killing of children – children killed due to excessive force by the IDF, children killed during Israeli state assassinations, children killed by flechettes and booby-traps, children killed as a result of house demolition, death of children as a result of denial of access to medical care, children killed by Israeli settlers, and children killed in suicide attacks. The report sets out the international principles prohibiting the targeting of children and other civilians and looks at how impunity has been a contributing factor to encouraging the killing of children.
