Bosnia-Herzegovina: The international community’s responsibility to ensure human rights

This report outlines Amnesty International’s deep concerns at the implementation of the human rights provisions of the 1995 peace agreement and the weaknesses of the human rights implementation mechanisms. It examines the basic undertakings of the parties and human rights implementation by the military, the international and regional civil human rights monitoring and implementation bodies and the national human rights institutions. Other chapters call for frequent, comprehensive public reporting, an increase in the budget for human rights implementation and an increase in the numbers and effectiveness of human rights monitors.
