AI is concerned about continuing reports of grave human rights abuses by armed Croat and Muslim forces in central Bosnia during renewed fighting between Bosnian Croatian forces and the mainly Muslim Bosnian Government armed forces around the towns of Vitez and Zenica and the south-eastern towns of Jablanica and Konjic. Croatian forces have alleged mass arrests and expulsions of Croats by Muslims while press reports have referred to arbitrary killings and mass arrests of Muslims and rape of Muslim women by HVO (Croat) forces.
